Are You Making These Mistakes On Your Website?
BySome of the websites I come across I see things that should be changed that would definitely increase the owners traffic and sign up rates. Are you making these mistakes?
No Opt In form on your front page to build your list. It is imperative that you always have some way your visitors can opt into your free report or newsletter. This will build you a very quality list you can send emails to over and over again.
Too many banners and pictures. At one time having banners and pictures on a website made it stand out and caught peoples’ eyes. But Not today, too flashy of a website and visitors will leave. Having to many banners and pictures, especially moving pictures, will distract your visitors from doing what you want them to do.
Links are not working. Have you put links to your own products or affiliate products? Have you checked them lately? It is very easy to forget we have links on our websites, it is important that you check these at least on a monthly basis to make sure they are still working.
Is your website easy to navigate? I find this more and more, that when I go to a website for a specific reason I can not find what it is I am looking for. I am taken to the main page of the site but that is not where the information I need is, I have to hunt for it. Most visitors will not do this, make sure if you are directing a visitor to specific product or article on your site, you are linking directly to that page and not your main page.
You need to make sure that your navigation is easy to understand, don’t use words that make sense to you, use words that will make sense to your visitors. You need to write as if you were talking to them directly, don’t use words they might not understand.
These are just some of the common mistakes people make on their websites and blogs, they don’t think of their visitors first. Take these and go over your website or blog and make sure you are not making these mistakes on your website.
Have a great day

Finally the first person to comment. You make some great points here. I was reading John Reese?s blog yesterday about building friendships and I see that you make a point in this post about building friendships and relationships. They are definitely important.
Hi Julianna,
Yes it is vital you develop good friendships and relationships while you blog or anything you do online. Building relationships builds trust with others.
May I ask has this information been self researched and written or rewritten from somewhere else?
